Product Description

Twin channel bar delivery system will be operated hydraulically. Rack will be operated by AC drives with speed control mechanism to suit the different rolling speed and also for proper cooling. Static grids will be made of cast iron. The rake profile is to be machined to close tolerance, movement of the racks will be through eccentric cam mechanism mounted on the drive shaft. Suitable gear box will be used for drive at suitable speed. Different section of the cooling bed will be synchronized by proper control system.

Rack type cooling bed design depends on bars cut previously to given lengths, to slow them down, to transport them crosswise over a cooling surface ensuring that the rolled bars in very wide range of lengths, are kept straight by aligning rollers, to collect the bars at the end of the cooling surface to predetermined packs matched to the requirements of the cold shear, and to discharge finally same onto a roller table which conveys the bar packs to the cold shear.

Working principle: The finished products are delivered to cooling bed via conveying roller table, and then extracted by therack step by step, being pushed to the top of cooling bed, to achieve the effect of cooling rolled piece.

Main application: The cooling bed equipment is mainly used for naturally slow on-line cooling of rolled steel plate. In theprofile production line, cooling bed also has the function of preventing bending, to prevent irregular curve of profilesthrough the process of natural cooling due to various quality problems. Areas of application: mainly used in steel industry,metallurgical industry, rebar production line, round production line, pipe production line, etc.
